“It’s brightly expressed on the nose, showing sweet strawberry, red apple, lemon peel and floral aromas. The palate is equally CHARMING with fresh fruit intensity and  a lively mouthfeel, well supported by crisp acidity, finishing long and refreshing.”

Vintage Conditions

The 2023 Barossa vintage was shaped by a cool, mild growing season that favoured freshness and aromatic expression in red varieties used for rosé. Winter rains replenished soils, ensuring healthy canopy development and balanced yields.

A temperate summer with limited heat extremes preserved bright acidity and lifted aromatics, while a long, even ripening period through autumn allowed fruit to develop delicate red berry flavours with subtle spice. The result is a Rosé of vibrancy, balance, and refreshing elegance.

The Label

Our Rosé takes its name from the Renae rose, the climbing rose that blankets the back verandah of our cottage in spring. Its overwhelming beauty inspired both the name and the artwork on the label.

The label features a digital watercolour of the Renae rose, created by artist Renee Lawrence. Watching this artwork come to life was a special part of the journey, making the label as meaningful as the wine inside the bottle.
